New Member Info
Grosse Point Boat Club was founded in 1959 (we just celebrated our 50th year) as a boating and social club. We sponsor numerous events throughout the year among them a Fitting Out Party, Steak Roast, Hobo Dinner, Lobster Boil, Commodore’s Breakfast, Dinner Cruise, and several boating rendezvous. When the weather gets colder, we move indoors with a Christmas Progressive Dinner and our annual Commodore’s Ball.
You don’t have to be a boater to join and many of our members don’t actually own boats. But, we all have one thing in common, an interest in Lake St. Clair and enjoying each other’s company in a variety of settings.
